Weather

The climate in Fort Bou-Jerif is very particular, which makes it interesting and attractive. Because located 10 km as the crow flies from the ocean, it is never too hot or too cold.
In winter, the daytime temperature averages 18-23 °, and the nighttime temperature between 8 and 13 °.
In summer, the daytime temperature is on average 25 to 33 ° C, and the night temperature is 20 to 25 ° C. So it is never too hot and we are comfortable, sitting in the shade, in the hottest part of the day for a drink or lunch, always with a little air.
It is recommended to always have a windbreaker and a sweater, even in summer as the evenings can be chilly. Conversely, it is hot when you go inland, and even in Guelmim, which however is not very far away, it is always 10 to 15 ° more, as in all the towns in inland.
In addition, we can say that there is a “micro climate”, as Bou-Jerif is spared most of the heavy rains. It rains, of course, 4 to 5 times a year, which is necessary to fill our water table, but there is often heavy and repetitive rains at 5 km, and not on Fort Bou-Jerif. Do not hesitate to call or send us an email to inquire about the weather in Bou-jerif.
